I really can’t complain. I had an unexpected 3-day work-week. Three cheers for a perfectly timed snow-day, right? :) So here we are . . . . it’s Friday already! Excellent.
I have a Groupon for sushi out tonight, and yoga scheduled in the morning. Does it get any better?
Oh wait, it does. Our Gelfand wine club shipment is being delivered today. Another cheers, to that!
Friday’s Five
1. Remember the night I made a massaged kale salad? We had friends over that evening, and had fun with a little wine tasting!
(Note: creepy image of me taking the picture can be found on the bottles!)
Have you ever had the same type of wine, from the same producer, but from different vineyards? It was fun to do a side-by-side comparison and taste their differences!
2. We made Cauliflower Crust Pizza on Monday. So. Good. If you haven’t tried it yet, you must!
3. Grapefruit is definitely a food I have to be in the mood to eat. I found them on sale recently, bought one, and it sat in the fridge for a couple of weeks before I finally had the desire to eat it.
But when I did, it was delicious. My favorite way: slice the grapefruit in half, spread a dab of honey on each of the halves, and broil in the oven for 5 minutes.
4. This article was alarming and made me quite frustrated and angry: How Junk Food Companies Exploit Americans with Ingredients Banned in Other Countries. One example cited:
Seriously? Take a minute to read through at least some of the article—being educated on the topic is the first step.

Happy Friday! Have a fantastic weekend!
